Farewell dear David

On 28 June David Worth passed away at the age of 88.
David was a much loved and valued member of our club for over 25 years, always noted for his attention to detail, his love of a job well done and his dedication. Although he called himself “Grumpy”, like the grumpy dwarf in Snow White the movie, we all know he was a person with a big heart.
Always accompanied by his devoted Marisa, David has not only remained a reference point for our club, but through his son Danny his daughter-in-law Claire and grandchildren Tom and Alex, he has left an exemplary family legacy in a club that is more than a family.
On Monday 1 July, at 13:00, we will gather in the Clubhouse, on the upper terrace, so that his friends can say a heartfelt farewell to this great person.
Rest in peace, David. We are sure that wherever you are, the courses will be perfect and green, and your wonderful shots will produce eagles and birdies.
