Our Interclub Team played San Roque this spring for the 15th year in a row.

It is traditionally very tight matches and this year was no exception. On the 12th February we played at R.C.G. Guadalmina south course, where we won 4:2.

Due to bad weather the return match was postponed a couple of times and finally yesterday we managed to play at San Roque old course. The weather was pretty bad during most the first 9 holes with heavy rain at times. The San Roque Team won 4:2, making the total result an even 6:6. The big smile on the photograph is due to the fact that the trophy was won by Guadalmina in 2011, so we could bring it back to Guadalmina with the draw. The total result over the 15 years is hereafter 8½ - 6½ in favour of R.C.G.

In the Picture Lars Torp receiving the Cup from Los Arqueros´s Captain

The Inteclub Team R.C.G.Guadalmina played on Friday the 1st and Friday the 8th March the annual match against Los Arqueros. The Guadalmina Team consisted of Lars Torp (Captain), Miguel Gutierrez, James Giddings, Paul Heaton, Sam Gardezi, Joe Llewellyn, John Marry, Jose Duarte, Antonio Gil Gil, Paco Guerrero and Herlov Langgard. After a tuff match at Los Arqueros where Guadalmina lost, we managed to win at home to make a total of 7:5 to Guadalmina. It was the 12th time the two clubs played the match with wins to Guadalmina 8½ - 3½.

Noemí Jiménez won the Cal Classic,  played at Ruby Hill Golf Club.

Jiménez scored  68 y 71 shots for a total of -5. The only player who managed to play under par , Noemi beted the runner up by 5 shots,

As from February, after the retirement of Francisco Hernande as Head Pro at Real Club de Golf Guadalmina we have elaborated a new working scheme for the Junior Section of Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.

Guadalmina won at home by 5½ - ½ and at Las Brisas Guadalmina won 4½ - 1½ - makes a total of 10:2.

This was the 19th year the two Clubs competed in the Interclub and the overall result of the 19 years is 9½ - 9½ with wins to Guadalmina in 2010 - 11 - 12 and now 2013.
