Past weekend, Pablo Hidalgo won the first prize "Benjamin category" at Monteparaiso Golf Club,  Mateo Ruiz did also very well ,finishing third.

CHANGE OF DATES:

THE INTERNATIONAL  SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP JUNIOR ( FEMENINE ), SCHEDULED TO BE PLAYED NEXT MAY.

IS NOW SCHEDULED AS FROM THE 11 th  TO THE 13th OF FEBRUARY SAME COURSE ( MEIS )

Guadalmina beat Aloha 3,5 : 2,5 home, but lost 1 : 5 away in the first interclub match 2011. 

The Guadalmina team was represented by John Mitchell and Olaf Eie (captain), Antonio Guerrero (President) and Kristian Bergland,  pictured  on the last green  on the South Course. The other players representing Guadalmina were Paul Heaton, Claes Forsgardh, Mats Liss Daniels, Juan Bernal, Sig Durlow, Hans Kaiser,Thomas Strandberg and Lennart Wiberg.

In 2010 Guadalmina won 9 interclub  matches, lost 2 and halved 1.

Dear Members:

Drinks and tapas on the North Course will be served as from today in a permanent bar next to greens on holes 9 & 18 .

The buggy bar will not be opperative

We hope that members will apprecite this new service.

The Andalusian Team won the Junior Master 2011 at La Cala Resort.

Two Girls and two Boys played the Europa Course, the Andalusian team won by 12 shots to the runner up from Valencia .

As from January 2nd it is not allowed to smoke inside the Cafetería or the Bar and Restaurant smoking will be permitted at the Terrace ONLY.

San Pedro Rotary Club awarded Real Club de Golf Guadalmina for its solidarity during 2010.

Dear Members:

Due to the numer of players the Committee has decided to change the format, it will be played under Texas Scramble with 3 or 4 players per team.

In the event of 4 players teams the highest handicap will not be considered to obtain the playing handicap of the team.

4 players teams will select  four tee shots of each players, leaving two tee shots at the discretion of the team captain.

3 players teams will select  five tee shots of each player, leaving three tee shots at the discretion of the Team Captain.
